Today we started at the cable car, there is some amazing architecture all amongst some very tired looking buildings. The cable car took us to Fishermans Wharf past Lombard Street where we looked through the Boudins Bakery and watched sourdough being made, they made interesting shapes with the sourdough, the alligator in the window was huge. Our solar panel and wind turbine powered sustainable ferry took us to Alcatraz where we had an amazing audio tour, we walked through the cells and saw concrete cracks while listening to the chilling stories about the bomb that caused them. It was so personal listening to stories while being in the place where they occured.
Everyone had some "down time" shopping around Fishermans Wharf and then we took the cable car into China Town for dinner. China town was amazing to see and very cultured! Yummy Chinese for dinner and cheap knick knacks.
Another long day with a very early start tomorrow for our flight to New York!
